Lightweights Kevin Lee and Francisco Trinaldo will look to increase their winning streaks, as Combate reported the pair will face off at UFC Fight Night 106, in Fortaleza, Brazil.
Riding an impressive seven-fight winning streak, Francisco Trinaldo (21-4) will try and add another name to his list that already has notable names such as Paul Felder, Ross Pearson, and Yancy Medeiros. In fact, Trinaldo’s last loss dates back to May 2014, when he dropped an unanimous decision to Michael Chiesa. The 38-year-old is ranked #13 in the UFC’s official lightweight rankings.
Although not on a streak as long as Trinaldo’s, Kevin Lee (14-2) will try and make it four in a row when he meets the Brazilian. He defeated Efrain Escudero, Jake Matthews, and Magomed Mustafaev in his last three outings. His last loss was a first round TKO to Leonardo Santos, in December 2015.
Kevin Lee will meet Francisco Trinaldo at UFC Fight Night 106, in Fortaleza, Brazil, on March 11. The card will be headlined by a middleweight clash between Vitor Belfort and Kelvin Gastelum.
