Unbeaten SBG welterweight Kiefer Crosbie is set to make his promotional debut at Bellator 211 in Genoa, Italy against fellow newcomer, Orlando D’Ambrosio, on Dec. 1.
MMA Fighting first reported the Irish knockout artist’s signing in July. Bellator has since confirmed his debut to the site.
Crosbie (4-0-0) is known for his striking ability, stopping all four of his professional opponents to date. His last outing, a welterweight clash with Josh Plant in the BAMMA 35 co-main event, resulted in a viral firefight that was lauded by fans and media alike. “BDK” finished the fight with elbows as Plant looked to take him down off the fence.
D’Ambrosio (9-3-0) is Crosbie’s most experienced professional opponent to date. He is best known by the broader European fan base for his two outings under the Cage Warriors banner, both of which he lost. He took a decision loss from his meeting with Per Franklin at Cage Warriors 93. Brad Wheeler submitted D’Ambrosio in the second round of his sophomore Cage Warriors outing.
The only other loss on D’Ambrosio’s record came against current UFC fighter Carlo Pedersoli Jr.
The welterweight bout will feature on Bellator 211’s main card.
