WHERE AND WHEN? “KIKA” VS “JOYA” FOR WBC DIAMOND BELT

Boxing fans are still waiting  for the grand  final of the WBC Diamond Tournament, with  WBC world champions, Esmeralda ‘Joya’ Moreno and Jessica “Kika” Chavez fighting for the third time.

Kika, 29, could  be considered to be the favorite, as it’s in the flyweight division. A weight category that  she has dominated since 2015; defeating  Arely Muciño, Simona Galassi, Vanesa Taborda, Naoko Fujioka, Ana Arrazola and… Esmeralda Moreno.

The 30-year-old ‘Joya’ beat  the odds by defeating  Ibeth ‘Roca’ Zamora in the semi-final and one stage before that, she managed to defeat  former world  champion Melissa McMorrow.

Both  fighters are  part of Promociones del Pueblo, which claimed this clash, will most likely be in September.
