On August 14 at LoanDepot Park in Miami, Florida, WBC super-middleweight champion Franchon Crews-Dezurn, will return to the ring to face champion Elin Cederroos.
Unfortunately, the fight had to be postponed, as it was part of the López vs. Kambosos; and Teofimo tested positive for Covid-19.
Crews-Dezurn regained her world titles after losing them to Mexican Alejandra Jiménez in January 2020. The Norfolk, Virginia fighter saw her split decision loss reversed to a no-contest after it was revealed that Jiménez failed in an anti-doping test.
As for Cederroos, she won the IBF 168-pound title in just the sixth fight of her career. She recently added the WBA title to her collection after scoring a unanimous decision victory against Alicia Napoleón Espinosa.
