KIRAM RETAINS PABA WELTERWEIGHT CROWN IN 29TH TITLE-DEFENSE

KNOCKOUT artist Tewa “Teerachai Kratingdaenggym” Kiram of Thailand successfully retained his PABA welterweight crown in his 29th title-defense last July 8 in Thailand.

The 24-year old Kiram scored a 4th round knockout against Vladimir “Destino Japan” Baez of the Dominican Republic.

Kiram is still unbeaten with 35 wins and 26 knockouts while the 32-year old Baez dropped to 21 wins-3 loses-2 draws-19 KOs.

Kiram won the interim PABA welterweight title via a 2nd round technical knockout win against Moses Seran on August 17, 2008 at the Bodindecha School in Bangkok.

Meanwhile, former Thai flyweight champion Komgrich Nantapech of Thailand beat Jayar “Dominator” Diama of the Philippines by a unanimous decision in the undercard.

Nantapech improved to 20-3-0 while Diama dropped to 7-8-5.
