Knowledgeable Ring Officials Seminar held in India

A special seminar was held for ring officials in India, aimed at strengthening the knowledge of judges in this region, which has great growth potential.

The seminar was led by a very important man of the boxing family: Duane Ford, President of the North American Boxing Federation, who was accompanied by members of the ring officials committee of the World Boxing Council.

During the seminar, basic principles, evaluation criteria the code of ethics, rules, and protocols were reviewed were analyzed, and the judges had the opportunity to evaluate fights and complicated rounds, then discussing why they scored the actions in a certain way.

More than 40 ring officials from the India Boxing Council participated in this exercise, in which they acquired fundamental knowledge to continue promoting the correct and fair development of boxing in this important region through WBC India.

The World Boxing Council wishes to acknowledge the efforts of the President of the India Boxing Council, Brigadier Raja, his colleagues, Oksana Smenishina and Kevin Noone, for hosting this event.
