WBO, WBA and IBF light heavyweight world champion Sergey “Krusher” Kovalev arrived a few days ago in Ekaterinburg, Russia, where he’ll defend his titles against Isaac “Golden Boy” Chilemba on July 11 in his first fight in his home country since 2011. Kovalev completed the first phase of his training camp in the mountains of Armenia withouthead trainer John David Jackson, who will be joining Krusher in Ekaterinburg for the final lead up to the fight. If Kovalev beats Chilemba and Andre Ward beats Alexander Brand on August 6 in Oakland, a November 19 Kovalev-Ward super fight is in the works for the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
