Kyoguchi to defend crown against undefeated Simsri

WORLD Boxing Association super world light flyweight champion Hiroto Kyoguchi of Japan will defend his title against Thanongsak Simsri of Thailand on Nov. 3 at the Ibtex Osaka in Osaka, Japan.

It will be the third defense of Kyoguchi, who won the title against Hekkie Budler of South Africa by a TKO in the 10th round last December 2018.

The 26-year old Kyoguchi then scored a unanimous decision against Tanawat Nakoon of Thailand on June 19, 2019, in Chiba City.

He beat Tetsuya Hisada of Japan by a unanimous decision last Oct. 1 in Osaka for his second title defense.

Simsri, on the other hand, recently won against Suriya Puttaluksa of Thailand last Feb. 6, 2020, in Kiatkririn, Thailand.

The promotion is handled by Hitoshi Watanabe of Watanabe Promotions.
