The PFL’s first show of 2019 is once again seeing a main event change.
Less than a week after scheduled headliner Louis Taylor announced that he would not be competing in the league’s second season due to the New York State Athletic Commission not clearing him for his welterweight bout with Chris Curtis, Thursday’s replacement main event between Kayla Harrison (3-0) and Svetlana Khautova is no more.
Per a league release, Khautova will be replaced by Larissa Pacheco (11-2), who now faces Harrison in the lightweight main event. The reason for Khautova’s withdrawal was not disclosed.
Pacheco had been scheduled to fight Roberta Samad (4-1) in the main card opener. As a result of the change, Samad will now fight Moriel Charneski (3-5).
