The world’s number 1 pound-for-pound female fighter and the only undisputed world champion, Cecilia Braekhus, (33-0, 9 KO’s), is applying the finishing touches to her training in Kiev, Ukraine.
It`s all for the bout against the undefeated WBC interim super welterweight champion, Inna ‘The Ice Queen’ Sagaydakovskya, (7-0-0, 3 KO’s), this Saturday, July 21 at the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia.
Braekhus has trained in Kiev since the second week of June, with the guidance of veteran coach Johnathon Banks.
“The training in Kiev has been fantastic, working with Johnathon has been very productive. We have visited some friends while we are here, including Wladimir Klitschko and Alexander Usyk,” said Braekhus.
For his part Banks commented: “Cecilia is in great physical shape. It has been very focused camp and Cecilia is very well prepared for the victory on July 21 in Moscow.”
