By LITO DELOS REYES

CHINA’S Pui Yu Lim will fight former Indonesian welterweight champion Ramadhan Weriuw of Indonesia for the WBC Asian Boxing Council Middleweight title on February 3 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The undefeated Lim (5W-0L, 5 KOs) previously captured the vacant WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental Light Heavyweight title last August 26 by stopping Alexander Bajawa in the first round only in Quancheng Park, Jinan.
Bajawa surrendered due to a serious pain in his arm.
Weriuw (17W-9L-1D, 15 KOs), on the other hand, previously won a 2nd round technical knockout against fellow Indonesian Jonatan Simamora last July 8 in Manokwari.
Patrick Cusik will be the supervisor of the Lim-Weriuw championship bout.
