Super bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Council, Mexican Yamileth Mercado, will face the undefeated Texan Angelica Rascón, on June 26 at the venue to be defined.
Yamileth comes from successfully won in February, when she met tough fighter Alejandra Guzmán, in a dramatic fight, because despite having suffered an injury to the eardrum, she was able to emerge victorious, with her hand raised high.
Rascón, undefeated in 10 fights, comes from a fight against Karla Islas that was sanctioned as “No contest” due to an unfortunate blow to the head that did not allow them to continue the fight.
The card will be broadcast by Box Azteca.
