Lorenz Larkin will attempt to get into the Bellator win column once and for all on Jan. 26.
The Riverside, Calif. native was one of the higher-profile free agent signings of 2017, as he jumped over from the UFC. But he’s come up short in his first two Bellator fights, losing to welterweight champion Douglas Lima and Paul Daley.
Larkin (18-7, 1 NC) hopes the third time will be the charm when he meets Fernando Gonzalez at Bellator 193 in Temecula, Calif.
The bout will be contested at a catchweight 180 pounds.
Gonzalez (27-14), who lives down the road from Temecula in nearby Menifee, has quietly put together one of the better runs in Bellator over the past several years. Gonzalez is 7-1 in Bellator and has won two in a row, most recently a submission win over Brandon Girtz at Bellator 182.
