Former Dominican world champion Jeison Rosario Vs Erickson Lubin, the WBC super welterweight silver champion, in a match that will be part of the Davis vs. Barrios card, on Saturday, at the Arena State Farm in Atlanta, Georgia.
The fight, which will also be a WBC super welterweight eliminator, is promoted by the Premier Boxing Champions series and will be broadcast on Showtime Pay-Per-View.
They held a public training where Lubin also participated, and commented some aspects of the upcoming fight:
“We always work hard. Every camp is difficult. It’s just this time we add a little more. We have been working since my last fight and I am very excited to come out and show my talents.
“Jeison Rosario and I, we are both hungry. I think I want it more and my physical condition will speak for itself. The fans can only expect fireworks and the best of me.
“It is not just one thing we are working on; we are working on everything to be the best we can be. I feel like I’m ready to fight. Everything is going to be shown on Saturday night.
“My defeat with Charlo affected me and motivated me in a big way. I know my skills and I know what I am capable of, so I went back to the drawing board and took it all in. I understood how serious this sport is and how unforgiving boxing is. So I knew I had to go out there and do different things to take my career to another level. That‘s what I did.”
