Undefeated Erickson “Hammer” Lubin fights Mexican Jorge Cota in a stepping stone match to be broadcast via SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING on CBS, presented by Premier Boxing Champions on Saturday, March 4 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
As main event of that night we will finally witness the much anticipated welterweight unification between undefeated stars Keith Thurman and Danny Garcia.
Lubin and Cota will open the card with a WBC super welterweight eliminatory. Jermell Charlo is the current champion of this division. Lubin (17-0, 12 KOs) will face Cota (25-1, 22 KOs), perhaps the toughest opponent of his career.
