LUPITA MARTINEZ TRAINING IS RUNNING SMOOTHLY

By WBCboxing.com

With a fleet footed time of 27 minutes and 26 seconds, the WBC super flyweight female champion Guadalupe Martinez won the Fifth World Boxing Council Jose Sulaiman Champions Race in the women’s category, over six kilometers.

Lupita says this result motivates her all the  more to successfully defend her WBC belt  for the second time.

“I’m very happy, it’s my first WBC race and having won it gives me extra  confidence for my next fight. I took this race as training.”

Lupita  had a great 2017. Against most expectations and predictions she defeated then champion Zulina “Loba” Muñoz, in a tremendous and courageous fight. In her first title defense she overwhelmed and TKO’d  Carlota Santos.

On February 3 Lupita will face the accomplished southpaw  Irma “Torbellino” García, in Atizapán de Zaragoza, in the State of Mexico, determined to successfully defend her WBC title for the second time.
