Magali has not flown yet to South Africa

Asian Boxing Federation and Philippine super featherweight champion Carlo Magali has not flown yet to South Africa after failing to get a ticket.

Together with his trainer Jaypee Alipio and assistant Jomar Fajardo, Magali had stayed with the Oyo Hotel in Pasay City for three nights already.

“I’m back because we don’t have tickets yet. It’s only near the airport,” said Magali.

Magali said that tickets have not yet arrived. It may arrive tomorrow or Thursday.

“It’s like they’re squeezing me to get rid of the condition, I guess,” said Magali.

The 35-year-old Magali will fight Ayanda “Greyhound” Nkosi (14-1-0, 8KOs) of South Africa on August 21, Sunday.
