MAGRAMO RETAINS WBC INT’L FLYWEIGHT CROWN

MANILA, Philippines — Giemel Magramo retained his WBC International flyweight title via a unanimous decision win over challenger Renz Rosia on Saturday night at The Flash Elorde Grand Ballroom of the Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque City.

The 21-year old Magramo also remained undefeated with 17 straight wins while Rosia dropped to 12-5-0.

In the main supporting bout, Philippine featherweight champion Randy Braga scored a technical knockout win over Donriel Marcos.

The other results: Jay Loto won by majority decision over Dodoy Alapormina; Diomel Diocos def. Lowell Saquisa by MD; Jonathan Pedrosa knocked out Abraham Bullagay; Claudevan Sese won by UD over Marcelo Cabusas; Christian Victorino won by MD over Jayar Lacsina; Bryan Tamayo TKO’d Marjon Tarasona; Arvin Magramo TKO’d Robert Mendano; Jose Roda Jr. won by MD over JV Manago.
