Former world champion Sergio “Maravilla” Martínez from Argentina announced that his return to boxing to face Spanish José Miguel Fandiño, in a middleweight fight, on Friday, August 21, in the municipality of Torrelavega, Spain.
Martínez confirmed the date change, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, August 22, for logistics reasons.
The 10-round bout will be part of a boxing festival. Top of the bill is Sergio García, who will defend his super welter title of champion of Europe.
The 45-year-old Argentine, who was a super welterweight and a middleweight champion, will fight again after six years and two months of inactivity against an opponent who`s 10 years younger.
