Middleweight Eumir Felix Marcial of Zamboanga City will make his pro debut against Andrew Whitfield of USA on Dec. 16 at the LA Live’s Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
The 26-year old Marcial, who is now staying home with IBF super flyweight champion Jerwin ‘Pretty Boy” Ancajas and Jonas “Zorro” Sultan in Los Angeles had four successive bouts this year.
Marcial first had a unanimous decision victory with Australia’s Kirra Ruston at Prince Hamza Hall in Amman last March 5.
He then TKO’d Mongolia’s Otgonbaatar Byambaerdene in the 3rd round last March 8 at Prince Hamza Hall. Marcial scored a majority decision against India’s Ashish Kumar last March 10.
For the finals of the 2020 Olympic Qualifying Tournament – Asia/Oceania, Marcial won a split decision against Kazakhstan’s Abilkhan Amankul last March 11 at Prince Hamza Hall.
Whitfield (3W-1L-0D, 2KO), on the other hand, has two wins in 2019.
He first scored a technical knockout against Thomas Turner in the 2nd round last Aug. 24 at Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls.
Whitfield then beat Adam Smith by a unanimous decision last Nov. 23 at Coeur d’Alene Casino in Worley.
