Last chance for McWilliams!

World Boxing Council flyweight champion Julio César ‘Rey’ Martínez, will defend his title on August 15 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, against Puerto Rican McWilliams Arroyo.

Martinez, 16-1 with 12 knockouts, will make the second defense of the championship he won in December against Nicaraguan Cristofer Rosales.

McWilliams, meanwhile, with a record of 20-4 and 15 knockouts, will have his third championship opportunity after falling Short against  Amnat Ruenroeng and Román ‘Chocolatito’ González.

The clash will mark another ripping chapter in the rivalry between Mexicans and Puerto Ricans in professional boxing.

The card will be presented by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom.
