“My work team and I have tried so hard to be world champions, I know who Irma Garcia is, when we beat Zulina we made it clear that we are up for great things, I’m going to fight at home, in front of My people, my children  Jimena and Jacobo will be there, I will not lose my WBC belt, which is the best that exists,” vowed the champion.

Garcia (18-2-1 and 3 KO’s) commented: “I am very calm, enjoying every day with my team. She  can say a thousand things but my motivation comes from above, and I know that God is going to grant me that Title”.

Both female warriors overcame the official weighing by registering:

Irma García 115 lbs.
