Former World Boxing Organization World super featherweight champion Masayuki Ito of Japan will fight compatriot Hironori Mishiro on Dec. 26 at Sumida City Gymnasium.
The 29-year-old Masayuki (26W-2L-1D, 14KOs) recently won against Ruben Manakane of Indonesian by a TKO in the 6th round last Sept. 13, 2019, at the Korakuen Hall.
Masayuki, however, lost earlier to Jamel Herring of USA by a unanimous decision and his WBO world super featherweight title last May 25 in Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, USA.
Hironori (9W-0L-1D, 3KOs), on the other hand, retained his OPBF super featherweight title by a split decision to Yoshimitsu Kimur last Dec. 10, 2019, at Korakuen Hall.
It is promoted by Ichitaro Ishii of Yokohama Hikari Promotions.
