This Saturday, May 1, at the Manchester Arena in the United Kingdom, the undisputed lightweight champion, Katie Taylor (17-0, 6 KOs), takes on skilled, intrepid fighter Natasha Jonas (9-1-1, 7 KOs) in an eagerly anticipated classic.
Taylor defeated Jonas in the quarterfinals of the 2012 London Olympics. The two warriors will now meet again, almost ten years later.
Taylor, consolidated and consecrated as one of the best fighters on the planet, has just defeated Miriam Gutiérrez in her most recent fight, in November.
While Natasha came very close to winning her first world title last summer when she drew with WBC super featherweight champion Terri Harper in a thrilling and memorable battle.
The bout, which is promoted by Matchroom Boxing, will be televised on Sky Sports in the UK and on DAZN.
