The World Boxing Council minimumweight world champion, Thai Wanheng Menayothin (42-0-0, 17 KOS), he’s ready for the mandatory defense of his crown against Saúl “Baby” Juárez (23-4-1, 12 KOS), which will take place on August 4 in Chonburi, Thailand.
Wanhen is aware of the excellent strike record his rival, so he’s put himself through his most grueling ever training camp.
Menayothin comes from defending the WBC crown defeating Japan’s Go Odaira by KO in the 5th round, in the 4th defense of his belt. He conquered the crown in 2014 defeating Mexican Oswaldo “Gallito” Novoa.
“Baby” Juarez, who’s already hit the Thai mainland, says he’s truly inspired to return to Mexico with that coveted and so precious WBC Green and Gold belt.
