World Boxing Council minimumweight world champion Wanheng Menayothin, will defend his crown in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, tomorrow, against dangerous Japanese puncher Tatsuya Fukuhara.
Menayothin has a long and distinguished history with the WBC. He won the minimumweight youth world title in March 2007, successfully defending it 8 times. Then he won the WBC international title in December 2009, defending it 12 times, subsequently, he won the WBC minimumweight world crown in November 2014 and has already notched 7 successful defences. Twenty seven reasons why he`s already a WBC Great!
Both fighters, showing great professionalism, presented all their pre-weigh ins and medical examinations required by the WBC.
Also this Friday they passed the final official weigh in and are now ready for battle.
