On the heels of his greatest career performance, Miguel ‘Mickey’ Román, who’s now number one ranked by the WBC, is determined to take on super featherweight champion, Miguel Berchelt.
Mickey who’s just defeated Orlando ‘Siri’ Salido by spectacular technical knockout at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Nevada, has set his sights even higher for 2018, as the year he conquers the absolute championship.
“I’ve shown exactly why I’m number one in the WBC rankings, by not running away from a warrior like Orlando Salido, imposing upon him my style and strength.
“This victory places me in the ring, against Miguel Berchelt, the current champion. And I am ready to end his reign. I have all the skills and the gnawing hunger to triumph.”
