BANGKOK, Thailand — Filipino Rimar Bahian Metuda (on the left, wearing light blue Twin trunks) from The Tuna Capital of the Philippines, Gensan; and his Thai opponent Thop Ainphamon successfully made weight for their 6-rounder non-title Súper Lightweight War Saturday afternoon, September 3, at the plush SpacePlus NightClub, RCA Plaza, in Bangkok, Thailand.
Hours ago Metuda passed with flying colours the medical check-up from Thai physician Dr. Jirasak, later on stepping on the scale, moving the espada inside the 140-pound weight-class.
Then, Metuda and Ainphamon held a serious, pero cordial face off both men looking strong and confident, willing to swing for the fences.
In his noble quest, the friendly Metuda (15-6-1, 9 KO’s) is guided by Filipino coach🇵🇭 Lio Aurelio Camporedondo Angel Jr., of Davao, a man with 100% confidence in his fighter.
