Miado-Dejdamrong II, Yamaguchi And More Set For ONE: CALL TO GREATNESS

Three more fantastic match-ups have been added to ONE: CALL TO GREATNESS in Singapore, including a long-awaited rematch.

The event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 22 February will now feature the second contest between Jeremy “The Jaguar” Miado and Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke in the strawweight division.

Their first meeting took place in Dejdamrong’s home country of Thailand, and as a former ONE Strawweight World Champion – as well as a multi-time Muay Thai World Champion – “Kru Rong” was expected to record a signature win.

However, at ONE: IRON WILL in Bangkok, the Filipino shocked the world with an 89-second knockout of the Thai legend. It was the biggest surprise of 2018.

“Kru Rong” will get a chance to settle the score in his adopted home of Singapore, where he has never tasted defeat as a mixed martial artist.

Both athletes ended 2018 in style – Miado knocked out Peng Xue Wen, and Dejdamrong submitted Himanshu Kaushik – to set up an intriguing battle on 25 February.

That encounter will be joined by a match of women’s atomweights as Mei “V.V.” Yamaguchi returns to the fold against Meng Bo.

Two-time ONE World Title Challenger Yamaguchi got back on the road to gold in December when she dominated Jomary Torres over three rounds at ONE: DESTINY OF CHAMPIONS.

As a two-time Chinese mixed martial arts champion, Meng is one of her nation’s top competitors. The 22-year-old from Changsha is sure to give her rival – who is 13 years her senior – all she can handle with her boxing and wrestling base.

Finally, Anthony “The Assassin” Njokuani, fresh off his stunning defeat of Andy Souwer last October, will face Regian “The Immortal” Eersel in a ONE Super Series lightweight kickboxing bout.

The native of Amsterdam, Netherlands is a Lion Fight and MFC World Champion, and defeated Brad “Quake” Riddell in his promotional debut last year.
