A welterweight clash between Michel Prazeres and Bartosz Fabinski is in the works for UFC’s first show in Argentina, multiple sources told MMA Fighting following a report by MMA Brasil.
The yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night card is scheduled to take place in Buenos Aires on Nov. 17 and features Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Neil Magny in the main event.
Prazeres (25-2) moved up to welterweight after winning six in a row at 155 pounds and scored a decision victory over Zak Cummings at UFC Chile in May. “Trator’s” seven-fight winning streak includes wins over Desmond Green, Josh Burkman and Gilbert Burns.
Fabinski (14-2) has also won his last seven MMA fights. The Polish talent joined the UFC in 2015, defeating Garreth McLellan and Hector Urbina that year, and returned from a long layoff to defeatEmil Meek via decision in July.
The unannounced event currently includes Khalil Rountree vs. Johnny Walker, Poliana Botelho vs.Cynthia Calvillo and Cezar Ferreira vs. Tom Breese.
