Michel Prazeres vs. Desmond Green set for UFC Belem

A Belem, Brazil native will get the chance to fight in his hometown on Feb. 3.

Michel Prazeres will meet Desmond Green in a lightweight bout at UFC Belem. MMA Fighting confirmed an initial report by MMA Brasil.

Prazeres (23-2) has quietly put together a five-fight winning streak, although he’s also missed weight twice in his past three fights. His most recent victory was a submission win over Mads Burnell on Sept. 2. Prazeres is 7-1 in the UFC overall, with his only loss to Kevin Lee.

Green (20-6), meanwhile, is looking to shake off a decision loss to Rustam Khabilovon Sept. 2, which ended a five-fight win streak of his own.

UFC Fight Night 125 will be headlined by Lyoto Machida vs. Eryk Anders.
