The Mickey/Nery show burst into life and on to the scene at the Municipal Center of Arts in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.

Don’t you just love it? The “Hate and Pride” production is this Saturday at the Josué Neri Santos Gym, to be beamingly transmitted to all Mexico, by Televisa Deportes.

Miguel ‘Micky’ Roman and Nery ‘Pantera’ Saguilán intensely contest the FECOMBOX super lightweight belt.

Roman took the lead, by snapping: “The only way he could defeat me is by dancing. I come here to fight and I will knock him out. If he comes well prepared it’ll be a great fight.”

Nery walzed in with a two step suggestion: “‘Micky’ believes he is at another level but he is totally wrong. I have a new opportunity to prove that I am a great fighter. I feel calm because I did an excellent preparation.”

On an undercard, which is certainly not understated , Eduardo ‘Rocky’ Hernandez says he’s mighty grateful and prepared to defend the World super featherweight Youth Championship: “It’s something that’s cost us so much and I will not lose it for anything in the world.”

His suave opponent is Filipino Rolando “Smooth Operator” Magbanua who only said he feels honored to be in Mexico, promising: “I’ll do my best to remove the undefeated record and belt from Hernandez and take it all the way back to the Philippines.”
