“Mickey” Roman: I only await the day

Negotiations are underway between Mexican mega-companies Zanfer Promotions and Promociones del Pueblo and for a fight for the WBC super featherweight championship between Mexican stars Miguel Berchelt (Zanfer) and Miguel “Mickey” Román (Promociones del Pueblo).

“I know it’s only a matter of time, that each day less time is needed for this fight to come,” said Roman. “It’s imminent, there are no excuses or pretexts because it’s the mandatory fight, so soon the champion and I will see each other’s faces in the ring and make it clear who is who. The time for which I have worked so much is getting closer. I know that it’s the fight we have worked a whole life for and that we have waited so long for but I’m sure that we’ll soon see all those years of work crowned.”
