“Micky” and “Bonita” inspire courageous young fighters

Mandatory challenger of the WBC super featherweight Championship Miguel ‘Mickey’ Román and WBC female Latino super flyweight champion Diana ‘La Bonita’ Fernández, visited children battling cancer, at  the Museum of the Rodadora in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Diana and Mickey were with the children to support them through play and recreation, as part of a program in which athletes and personalities come to the interactive museum with the intention, commitment and desire of helping.

They arrived wearing their respective WBC belts, which immediately caught the attention of the children who smiled at, talked to  and played with the boxers.

Mickey said this is an honor and  satisfaction, as he`s  always liked to contribute to the community and especially children.

Diana who was visibly moved, said they youngsters are a magnificent example of tenacity and bravely leading to motivation, as with all their might and with everything they`ve got…and then some….they tenacious battle every single day, with a radiant beaming smile on their faces.
