WBC light flyweight champion “La Roca” Zamora aims to make it three victories in four encounters, confronting and controlling Esmeralda “La Joya” Moreno on Saturday in Metepec, State of Mexico.
The card is presented by Promociones del Pueblo and it will be transmitted live through Televisa Deportes. And Esmeralda is vowing to even the score.
A rugged public training, in the looming shadow of the Cerro del Calvario in Metepec. Roca’s title is at stake, plus a coveted place in the Grand Final for the World Boxing Council’s Flyweight Diamond Belt tournament.
Zamora bluntly stated that: “All fights are important, but I still can’t forget she defeated me for the first time and also took my national light flyweight belt.
“Right now I have a double commitment, to defend my championship and to get into The Grand Final for the diamond belt.”
“There are so many things at stake! It’s just the most important fight of my career, and accordingly, I’ve prepared very well indeed. I am the better, and I am so ready for this real test,” said Esmeralda, who has a victory and 2 defeats against Zamora.
