Mexican boxer 🇲🇽 Moisés Fuentes was transferred to the Amerimed hospital in Cancun due to a clot in the brain, and it was necessary to operate him and pray for his recovery, after the knockout he suffered in his fight against undefeated 20-0 prospect 🇲🇽 David Cuéllar, on the undercard that took place Saturday night at Arena Oasis, Cancún, Mexico.
According to various reports, including the Diario Esto de México, Moisés Fuentes was taken by ambulance to the hospital for a tomography due to the strong knockout he received, and the result showed the clot, so immediately doctors proceeded to surgical intervention.
“Moises Fuentes has been admitted to the hospital after the dramatic knockout. The boxing community unites in prayer for his recovery, ”wrote the president of the WBC Mauricio Sulaimán on his Twitter account.
Fuentes, former world champion of minimumweight and interim light fly, came from an inactivity of more than 3 years without fighting and this duel against “El General” Cuéllar represented his return to the ring.
Before this fight, he had been knocked out by the Nicaraguan 🇳🇮 Román “Chocolatito” González in the 5th round, and one match before he was also knocked out by the Japanese 🇯🇵 Daigo Higa in the 1st episode.
In the battle between Fuentes and Cuéllar, Fuentes took hand blows with his guard down. He finished off with a left punch that sent him hard straight to the canvas, falling in a dramatic way.

Then, Moises Fuentes was taken out of the ring on a stretcher and from there to the ambulance, where he was given first aid and then rushed to the hospital.

According to the family, they had already obtained blood at the time of requesting help.
