On September 15 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Mexican Moises Fuentes is boldly promising to defeat and simultaneously retire Nicaraguan Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez.
World champion at minimumweight and light flyweight Moises seeks to emulate what he did six years ago when he traveled to Puerto Rico to retire former champion Iván Calderon, audaciously stating:
“My goal is to retire Roman González. I will be preparing myself at the Otomí Ceremonial Center and I will have the company of world-class fighters like Rodrigo “Gato” Guerrero, Juan “Churritos” Hernández and Julio César Martinez. I am happy to be working with my old team.
“Roman is not that strong at the 115 pounds. I know the punches with which I can hurt him. Neither of us wants to lose this fight!”
