Jelena Mrdjenovich, The  World Boxing Council female featherweight champion, recovered her crown in thriller rematch with Argentinian Soledad Matthysse, and now…a  challenge for a Francophile.

Jelena Is defending her belt for the first time against undefeated boxer and former WBC international champion, Gaelle Amand, on October 8th in France.

Durable Jelena who is already training hard, explains  she’ll arrive to the fight in manifique  condition.

Hardly  gauche,  Amand, is well known for her fait acompi style, which has shaped and moulded  her undefeated record and conquest of  the International in April. May there be an Arc de Triumphe!
