MANY-TIME World Boxing Council world minimumweight champion Chayaphon Moonsri of Thailand will defend his title against compatriot Panya Pradabsri on Nov. 27 in Thailand.
No final venue was announced yet.
The 35-year old Moonsri alias “Wanheng Menayothin Kaiyanghada” will be defending his title for the 14th time.
Moonsri retained his title against Simpiwe Konkco of South Africa by a unanimous decision last Oct. 25 in Chonburi, Thailand.
He earlier beat by a technical decision Tatsuya Fukuhara of Japan in the 8th round last May 31 in Chonburi.
Moonsri has 54 wins and 18 knockouts with loss and draw while Pradabsri has 34 wins with 22 knockouts against one loss.
The 29-year old Pradabsri recently retired Wichet Sengprakhon in the 4th round to win the vacant World Boxing Council Asian Boxing Council minimumweight title last Sept. 25, 2020
Pradabsri had already three fights, all won this year.
He first TKO’d Mehrdad Kalvandi in the 3rd round last Feb. 21 in Ayutthaya. He then beat Hector Villa of the US by a unanimous decision last Aug. 28.
