This Saturday at the O2 Arena in London, Martin Murray will challenge the WBC middleweight silver champion Roberto García.
Garcia won the WBC Silver title defeating Omar Chavez by unanimous decision, last August. Garcia has fought against quality fighters like Antonio Margarito and Breidis Prescott. Currently, Garcia is ranked 6th in the WBC´s lists.
Murray has not fought since last September when he knocked out Arman Torosyan in the fourth round. Murray has also fought with boxers of excellent quality including Arthur Abraham, Gennady Golovkin, Felix Sturm and Sergio Martinez.
“I am very happy to contest the WBC Silver belt on home turf. I know that Roberto García has traveled with the goal of successfully defending his title. I am happy and very well prepared for war, “commented Murray.
