Mexican Yamileth Mercado has a golden and green opportunity this September 8th, travelling to Nairobi, Kenya to challenge the super bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Council in Nairobi, Fatuma Zarika.
Yamileth trains in the peaks of Jiquipilco, State of Mexico, guided by Alfredo Caballero, who also works Francisco “Gallo” Estrada.
“I’m training alongside great champions: ‘Gallo’ Estrada, ‘Prince’ Cuadras and Jackie Nava…they were here. A very motivating environment, and we have worked hard to bring the title to Mexico. This is the most important fight of my career, it`s a great opportunity that we are going to take advantage of, “said Yamileth, who will work a couple of weeks more in the state of Mexico, before traveling to Kenya in early September.
