World Boxing Council featherweight champion, Canadian Jelena Mrdjenovich, regained his crown defeating Argentinan Soledad Edith Matthysse in March of this year.
Jump ahead to today, as Mrdjenovich is training for what will be the next defense of her title on October 8th in France against French star Gaelle Amand, who is unbeaten with 14 wins.
“I feel very strong, we have formulated a good workout plan. We know it is not going to be easy to travel to France and win, so I’ll be 100% for a big victory,” promised the champion.
