Former WBC light-middleweight champion John “The Beast” Mugabi has lost an amazing 50 pounds in weight thanks to his trainer Dundee Kim at his Brisbane gymnasium and is looking forward to starting a career as a personal trainer.
Kim has not only got “The Beast” back in great shape but has also been working with WBO #2 Jeff Horn in his preparation for a WBO welterweight challenge against Manny Pacquiao on July 2 at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.
Mugabi and Kim have been working out with boxing journalist Grantlee Kieza and predict the 6’2 boxing scribe will be down at cruiserweight poundage for the Pacquiao v Horn WBO championship bout in five weeks.
“It has been a great honor to be put through punches on the pads with John Mugabi,” said Kieza. “It has also been great working with Dundee Kim who done a fantastic job getting John Mugabi back in top shape.”
