Munoz keeps WBC female belt with fourth round KO over Taborda

WBC female super flyweight champion Zulina “La Loba” Munoz (47-1-2, 28 KOs) successfully defended her world title with a spectacular fourth round KO over Vanesa Taborda (8-7-3, 0 KOs) on Saturday night at the Gimnasio Municipal “Jose Neri Santos” in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Munoz dropped Taborda in round one. Taborda floored Munoz in round three. Munoz finally ended it with a huge right hand that laid out Taborda.

Super lightweight Carlos “Rana” Gorham (20-3, 16 KOs) stopped former world title challenger Fernando “Guerrero Yaqui” Carcamo (22-6, 17 KOs)

Super welterweight Johnny Navarrete (31-8-1, 15 KOs) surprised KO artist Juan “Juanito” Montiel (19-3-1, 19 KOs), taking an eight round unanimous decision.
