DAVAO CITY – Featherweight KJ “The Ipugo” Natuplag of Ifugao will fight again in Dubai on Sept. 12 against a still unknown boxer.
The 24-year-old Natuplag (8W-3L-2D, 7KOs) and his opponent will fight for eight rounds.
It has been almost two months that Natuplag and his matchmaker Brico Santig of Highland Promotions have been locked down in Dubai because of the pandemic.
They will be the main supporting bout between middleweight (72kg) Glen “Jersey Boy” Tapia (23W-5L-0D, 15KOs) of USA and Narong “Saddam Kietyongyuth” Bunchan (28W-8L-0D, 22KOs) of Thailand for 8-rounds.
Natupkag recently lost to Hasibullah Ahmadi of Afghanistan by a unanimous decision last June 5 at the Hilton Al Habtoor City in Dubai.
