Evander Holyfield was in Argentina to attend the biggest and best Television Show of South America, as an astute Judge of a spectacular dancing contest.
The four times heavyweight and cruiserweight champion, participated in “Dancing with the stars” in 2006, as Floyd Mayweather Jr. did in the past.
The outstanding TV extravaganza of Marcelo Tinelli, dubbed “Show Match”, has counted on the participation of boxers as Mike Tyson in “Dancing for a Dream” in 2011, and also great Argentinian fighters including Marcela la “Tigresa” Acuña, Alejandra “Locomotora” Oliveras, Rodrigo la “Hiena” Barrios, Jorge “Locomotora” Castro, Fabio la “Mole” Moli, and Sergio “Maravilla” Martínez.
The participation of Evander Holyfield back then involved three stages. The special moment of the night came when Evander Holyfield presented the a WBC replica of the champion belt to Marcelo Tinelli, recognizing him as “Friend of Boxing” and welcoming to the World Boxing Council.
Tinelli would write on his twitter later “I will remember this moment forever, Holyfield putting the WBC belt on me, I adore him”,
Now…bang up to date, during the week of the boxers in Argentina activity was intense. Evander attended several musical shows. As the ambassador of the WBC, he also visited several schools following the program
#BOXVAL of “Scholas”, the International Pontifical Foundation, created by Pope Francis.
He gave several outstanding motivational speeches, on how he started in boxing, as well as his ensuing experiences. Evander took photos with all the attendants and planted the olive of peace, which unites religions.
