No “Rock left unturned” at Otomi

By WBCboxing.com

Wunderkind WBC Youth super featherweight champion, Eduardo ‘Rocky’ Hernandez, has taken no short cuts in  his preparation at the Otomi Ceremonial Center, in the build up to this Saturday`s crunch contest against Colombian Luis ‘Machete’ Díaz in Mexico City.

The twenty year old with a young head on old shoulders, heads the card of the traditional ‘Box Saturdays’ in a duel where not only the WBC Youth crown will be on the line,  but also and crucially, the right to contest an eliminatory versus former world champion Francisco ‘Bandido’ Vargas, which was ordered by the WBC Board of Governors a week ago during its Annual convention, in Kiev.

“It’s amazing the strength you acquire when you train in the Otomi Ceremonial Center. Not only physically, but mentally, because you radidly realize what your body is capable of achieving and that motivates you to go in search of more.  I’m totally ready for what is coming, although before I have a very complicated opponent this Saturday.  I won`t be taken by surprise.”
