WBC flyweight World champion Juan “Churritos” Hernández is training  at the rarefied heights of the Otomí Ceremonial Center in Temoaya, State of Mexico, for his first title defence on May 20 in Tokyo, Japan against local undefeated Daigo Higa.

This will be broadcast to  Mexico by Televisa Deportes.

Hernandez Navarrete will have a complicated test when faces  undefeated Higa, who is ranked 1 on the WBC lists

The physical preparation will be a fundamental part in the tactical work of the Mexican boxer who practices a classic boxing but that also owns a demolishing strike.  A wining combination  worked with the  expert tutelage of the Former world champion Isaac “Tortas” Bustos and coach Jorge Barrera.

Hernández commented: “There is an unwritten rule that dictates that if your doing things really well,  you just have  to repeat the  winning strategy.  I trained here  for my previous fight where I win the championship and here we are again with the mentality to defend the championship… wherever  we are!

“My boxing skills are based on moving well, and in a strong and accurate punching. So,  I need a great physical condition and I assume this as a big challenge. I will go to Japan and repeat the story. opponent moves forward  and his style favors me.”

On the same card, Mexican Gánigan “Maravilla” López will  defend his WBC light flyweight belt against undefeated Ken Shiro.
