NONITO DONAIRE BOXES WELL TO DEFEAT RUBEN HERNENDEZ

Nonito Donaire returned to the ring after suffering a close loss to Jessie Magdaleno, gaining a unanimous decision victory in a 10-round battle against Ruben Garcia Hernandez (22-3-1).

“Filipino Flash” (38-4, 24 KOs) was far superior to his rival taking the fight with scores of 100-90, 97-93, 99-91 to win the WBC featherweight silver belt.
