Former WBC female light flyweight champion Esmeralda “Joya” Moreno, plans to dig deep and show a lot of “Sand” near beach in Cancun July 23rd challenging WBC flyweight world champion Yessica “Kika” Chavez.
After a great victory on April 30th in Europe, Moreno boldly states: “I`m ready for whatever. I handily defeated “Kika” in 2011 and I`ll do it again this July 23rd. My burning ambition is to be the new boxing queen, in order to give my daughter all the things she deserves. She`s my driving force motivation, so I`m very happy to fight on a Televisa broadcast again. I can certainly promise you all, I`m going in blazing with everything I`ve got!”
Born on july 7th, 1987, “Joya” who just celebrated her 29th birthday, promises she won`t allow this opportunity to slip away, or the tide to turn against her in Cancun. Until then, she`s training in The Pancho Rosales Gym, guided by Victor “Vaquero” Díaz.
